
Canada is a country in North America with ten provinces and three territories that extend from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and northward into the Arctic Ocean. The country is giant, covering 9.98 million square kilometers (3.85 million square miles), making it the world’s second-largest country by total area.
Its southern and western parts of the country border with the United States, stretching 8,891 kilometers (5,525 mi), giving it the longest bi-national land border in the world. Canada’s capital is Ottawa and there are three large metropolitan areas. Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.



The Canadian Rockies are famous for the national parks within its border with the most popular being Banff, Jasper, and Yoho. The people are very friendly and welcoming. Both alcohol and cannabis are legal to consume.

Language: Canada has 70 recognized indigenous languages. Since the establishment of the Canadian State English and French have been the co-official languages and are, by far, the most spoken languages in the country today.
Currency: The currency in Canada is the Canadian Dollar.
Credit Cards and ATMs: Credit cards are accepted at most establishments in Canada including small shops and food trucks.
Plugs: The plugs in Canada are types A and B. The standard voltage is 120 V, and the standard frequency is 60Hz.
Safety: Overall Canada is a very safe country. You may come across petty crime if you’re not careful as is true in many countries.
