Best Time to Visit Florida

The best time to visit Florida is during the winter – early spring months of November – April. This is the busy season so expect a crowd. The summer months for places like Amelia Island, Daytona Beach, and the theme parks of the central region attract tourists from all around the world.

July and August are considered to be off-season and might be a good choice for those who want to save some money and don’t mind some very hot weather, especially in south Florida. July and August are also peak seasons for rain and insects throughout the state, so plan accordingly.

The Florida Keys stretch off the southwest coast of Florida toward the Caribbean, connected by more than 40 bridges for more than 126 miles.
