It’s winter again, and that has me dreaming of places to visit this holiday season. Do I want to go somewhere warm with beautiful beaches so I can just sit and relax? Or do I want to go skiing somewhere snowy? Due to Michigan’s extremely dreary winters, I always try to get away for the holidays. Choosing where to go can be hard, so many places so little time! But no worries. I made a list of the best places to visit this holiday season to make choosing a little easier.

Thailand
December is one of the best months to visit Thailand. The heat is no longer miserably hot, it stops raining everywhere, and the weather has cooled down. Between November and early April, temperatures range from 29°C / 84°F to 34°C / 93°F. Don’t get me wrong – it’s still hot, but not boiling I’m going to die hot. However, the climate varies throughout the country which is great, becauses then you can visit all year round. In the south, the climate differs between the eastern and western coasts. Bolivia
December is the summer season in Bolivia, and you can expect comfortable temperatures throughout the country. The rainy season starts at the end of the month, so if you plan your trip accordingly – you can see the famous mirror-like effect on the salt flats in Uyuni.
