5 Places to Visit this Holiday Season 2023

It’s winter again, and that has me dreaming of places to visit this holiday season. Do I want to go somewhere warm with beautiful beaches so I can just sit and relax? Or do I want to go skiing somewhere snowy? Due to Michigan’s extremely dreary winters, I always try to get away for the holidays. Choosing where to go can be hard, so many places so little time! But no worries. I made a list of the best places to visit this holiday season to make choosing a little easier.

 

The Best Places to Visit This Holiday Season 2023

Thailand

December is one of the best months to visit Thailand. The heat is no longer miserably hot, it stops raining everywhere, and the weather has cooled down. Between November and early April, temperatures range from 29°C / 84°F to 34°C / 93°F. Don’t get me wrong – it’s still hot, but not boiling I’m going to die hot. However, the climate varies throughout the country which is great, becauses then you can visit all year round. In the south, the climate differs between the eastern and western coasts. The North of Thailand has many high mountains and is the source of many rivers Here are some of the best places to visit in Thailand in December: · Ko Lanta, Koh Samui (beaches and resorts) Ko Jum (untouched paradise) Elephant Valley (ethical animal encounters) Chiang Rai (iconic temples).

Bolivia

December is the summer season in Bolivia, and you can expect comfortable temperatures throughout the country. The rainy season starts at the end of the month, so if you plan your trip accordingly – you can see the famous mirror-like effect on the salt flats in Uyuni. In cities like La Paz and Sucre, the average daytime temperature ranges from 18°C to 22°C (64°F to 72°F). In the lowlands of Santa Cruz and the Amazon basin, it can soar up to 30°C (86°F).

This warm, dry weather is a luxurious escape for those of us who come from the dreary northern United States and Canada.

Where in Mexico you visit depends on what type of activities you’re interested in doing. The country is made up of 9334.195 km/5,800 miles of beaches on both east and west coasts while the interior is made up of dense jungle, desert, and mountain ranges. Go to Mexico City or Oxaca for a cultural experience, the Yukatan peninsula for beaches and cenotes, and the west coast for resorts and mountain views.
